DID YOU KNOW?

In 2025 there were just under 400,000 youth in the foster care system in the US.
A significant number of youth remain in foster care for many years, with tens of thousands spending 3 or more years in care.
The average age of a youth in foster care is 7-8.
1 in 5 children impacted by foster care are homeless at age 18.
Up to 80% of children impacted by foster care are separated from their siblings.
40% of children in foster care experience more than 2 placements a year.
Up to 50% of foster families, stop fostering each year.

HOW WE HELP.

Children receive 4 tops, 4 bottoms, 4 socks, 4 undies, 2 accessories, & 1 book on their first visit at FHH.
All children in the home can shop (as long as there is one child in the home through foster care, guardianship, or kinship).
We are a monthly resource and can be accessed when there is a need.
Our Launchpad Program includes 4 young adults (18-25) who have been impacted by foster care. They work in BeLOVED, take life skills classes and strive to reach personal goals.
BeLOVED is our community-focused boutique that offers re-loved clothing, shoes, handbags, accessories and more.

We are focused on helping children impacted by foster care feel confident, empowered and valued by having a space that they feel welcomed, loved & important.

HOW YOU CAN HELP.

Clothing Drives: gather your company, family and friends and collect new clothing donations.
Monetary Donations: with your donations we are able to fund our programs and purchase clothing in specific types and sizes.
Volunteer: It takes a village! Helping to keep our space organized and the boutique full is a big job.
Spread the Word: Knowledge is Power and when you share the stories of children impacted by foster care you help us raise awareness on issues that directly impact our community.
